Trisquel's ftp.caliu.cat repository fails to provide packages

Since yesterday, I notice that the ftp.caliu.cat repository fails to provide packages. I get an error message: Not possible to connecto to ftp.caliu.cat:80 (147.83.91.172), connection timeout).

Yeah, seems to be a known problem they are having with their infrastructure.

I suppose we could give them some time to fix it, since they are kindly mirroring our repos, before we take any action, for now please just change you mirror to another while we have more news from them.

There is now MR !1493 (merged) ready and might be applied by the end of the September 2024, then ported to all supported distros.

I happen to be reinstalling Trisquel and at the time of choosing the Trisquel mirror, if I select ftp.caliu.cat I get the message Incorrect Trisquel Mirror, I need to choose another mirror.

Indeed, we'll wait 'til October to remove them if they don't restore the mirror. See !1493 (merged) for more info.
